Key Responsibilities:
Execute and implement strategic plans that address customer needs and organizational objectives, utilizing the EA Blueprint business planning process.
Proactively manage Medtronic’s contractual position by engaging early on expiring contracts and ensuring competitive positioning.
Oversee the entire contract lifecycle—from pre-contract planning through negotiation, execution, and fulfillment—ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and long-term value, supported by the pricing and contracting team.
Develop and implement post-award execution plans in collaboration with OU field teams and Strategic Account Liaisons, providing ongoing contract performance management to maximize contract revenue.
Lead new product launches, bulk deals, pricing discipline, and Average Selling Price (ASP) management to optimize enterprise revenue and margin.
Build and maintain trust-based relationships with supply chain, contracting officers, administrative, and clinical decision-makers to foster enterprise-wide partnerships.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales leaders, Strategic Account Liaisons, Pricing & Contracting, supply chain, finance, and service teams to deliver tailored solutions and seamless contract execution.
Design competitive, value-driven offers and contracts that align customer and company objectives, leveraging advanced business and financial acumen.
Monitor account performance, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate risks using analytics and CRM tools.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making and long-term strategy.
Generate accurate forecasts, including opportunity management.
Demonstrate pricing discipline and ASP optimization strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
Influence and align internal and external stakeholders with varying objectives to drive consensus-based, high-value outcomes and close deals.
Stay current on industry trends, Medtronic innovations, and the competitive landscape to inform strategy and execution.
Ensure contract compliance with all US Federal Government regulations and requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in account management, sales, or a related field.
Strong understanding of US Federal Government contracts and associated mechanics (including FAR, DFAR, TAA/COO, SDVOSB, OCONUS Operations).
Knowledge of the US Federal Government healthcare system, including structure, decision-making rights, and roles/responsibilities.
Nice to Have:
Healthcare or medical devices experience.
Familiarity with corporate account structures and operations.
Proven expertise in contract management, negotiation strategies, and process leadership.
Advanced business and financial acumen for offer and contract design.
Deep commercial expertise in pricing strategies, ASP management, and competitive positioning.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
Strong strategic relationship management skills with administrative, supply chain, and clinical decision-makers.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive operational execution.
Project management skills and proficiency with CRM, analytics, and contract management software.
