As a Sales Representative I, you will drive commercial growth by promoting Medtronic’s innovative diabetes therapies and solutions, helping improve the lives of patients with diabetes. You will build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and distributors, and deliver clinical value through education and customer engagement. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, understanding customer needs, and executing market strategies to consistently achieve sales targets while supporting improved patient outcomes, in an onsite role based in Puerto Rico, covering the North Metro and Northeast regions.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Promotes and sells Medtronic’s diabetes products and therapies within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Develops, builds, and strengthens long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors, endocrinologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Pursues leads, assesses customer needs, and provides tailored diabetes product solutions to maximize clinical and commercial outcomes
  • Delivers product education and support to healthcare professionals, ensuring effective use of diabetes therapies
  • Conducts market research, including analysis of customer needs and competitor activity within the diabetes space
  • Implements market development strategies specific to the diabetes portfolio and adapts plans as needed
  • Communicates customer feedback on diabetes products or therapy enhancements to internal stakeholders (R&D, Operations, Marketing)

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Fluency in English (minimum B1 level required)
  • Active healthcare professional license (e.g., Nursing or Nutrition), with the ability to practice in a clinical capacity
  • 1 year or more of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related roles within healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences
  • Experience working with Diabetes medical devices

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Experience in territory or account planning

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
