Medtronic is seeking a committed, results-driven Remote Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing sales and sales for the US PVH Remote Sales Customer Base, driving engagement with both new and existing customers, and leading a talented sales team. You’ll play a vital part in shaping business strategy, championing Medtronic products, and fostering professional growth among your team members.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of remote sales representatives to achieve or exceed sales targets for peripheral vascular products.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, territory plans, and performance metrics aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and customer support teams to deliver best-in-class service and solutions.
  • Ensure team members are equipped with up-to-date product knowledge, clinical data, and selling tools.
  • Conduct regular virtual team meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Utilize CRM systems to monitor sales activities, forecast revenue, and report on team performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all Medtronic policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new remote sales team members.
  • Oversee direct sales and operational activities for your business unit, including talent development, diversity & inclusion, and performance management.
  • Lead a team of experienced sales professionals, providing tactical and operational leadership
  • Participate in the framework for developing sales performance metrics and executing on performance management
  • Creative ideas on how to get in front of market trends via our Channel Innovation go to market capabilities
  • Occasionally travel for team meetings, customer events, or training as needed

Required:

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness and ability to travel outside (15% travel expectation)
  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience OR advanced degree with at least 3 years of relevant sales and leadership experience.
  • Practical knowledge of sales, business development, and management processes for one or more products.
  • Advanced skills in sales discipline and understanding of cross-functional business impact.

  • Proven experience leading and managing sales teams.
  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical skills for data analysis and market insights.
  • Experience implementing process, policy, or product improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, undefined problems and projects.
  • Strong communication, influence, and persuasion skills.
  • Experience with new market development and product launches.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$130,000

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
