This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Foster a work environment conducive to excellent sales performance, customer service, learning, teamwork, execution and accountability
Motivate, guide, and lead team with a focus on meeting and exceeding established business goals and objectives of department
Maintain, analyze and distribute sales results and productivity metrics
Establish exceptional relationships with field sales partners and other staff to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded daily/weekly/quarterly/annually
Deliver Action Plans to Director-level on how performance standards will be met
Work with Diabetes Processing Specialists (DPSs) to maximize lead conversion and minimize processing time
Help DTS and DPS teams adopt standardized processes and technologies that lead to more efficient sales practices and goals attainment
Administer work schedules and processes to ensure adequate staffing, exceptional transactional quality and unsurpassed responsiveness in all activities
Facilitate team meetings as necessary to maintain communications, develop teamwork, identify roadblocks, implement improvements and drive results
Administer sales programs and other motivational tools to drive performance
Coach team members to continuously improve sales skills, phone skills, communication, processing efficiency, and organizational skills to ensure effective team dynamics
Provide supervision, guidance, performance management, and focused coaching to DTS team members through coaching activities including role-plays, objection handling, and individual performance conversations
Document coaching and development activities with employees by completing Employee Coaching Forms with actions observed and suggestions for improvements
Mentor employees on teamwork, time/task management and career development
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience OR Advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience
Nice to Have
Minimum of one (1) year supervisory / leadership experience directing and managing individuals or a team
Previous experience leading and managing sales teams in a high-volume sales environment
Proven success as an inside sales representative as measured by level of sales performance against established goals and objectives
Previous sales award recipient due to strong sales performance (i.e. President’s Club, Rookie of the Year, etc.)
Strong verbal, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of customers (both internal and external)
Strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrated strong work ethic
Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability and proven success influencing and motivating others
Strong personal computer skills and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Strong analytical, prioritization, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to be flexible to changing priorities
Ability to generate reports, graphs, and business correspondence
Prior project management experience recommended
Experience leading, coaching, and managing others
Knowledge and understanding of Diabetes and/or Durable Medical Equipment
