Area Field Sales and Marketing Manager

Position Summary:
The Field Sales and Marketing Specialist will serve as a dual-function team member, driving both sales and localized marketing efforts to grow Mercury Broadband's presence in targeted markets. This role combines field-based sales activities with the execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and achieve sales goals. This individual will be instrumental in fostering relationships with residential customers, small businesses, and community stakeholders while actively contributing to Mercury Broadband’s mission to connect underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities:
Field Sales & Sales Management (70%):
- Conduct door-to-door residential sales within assigned territories, introducing Mercury Broadband’s internet and digital phone services.
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Identify and secure new customer accounts, ensuring a seamless transition from lead generation to service installation.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
Local Marketing (30%):
- Plan and execute localized marketing initiatives such as community events, trade shows, and sponsorships to promote Mercury Broadband’s services.
- Distribute marketing materials, deploy promotional signage, and engage with community members to generate interest.
- Partner with local organizations, municipalities, and businesses to create awareness and referral opportunities.
Customer Engagement:
- Build positive relationships with customers to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries, ensuring high satisfaction and support.
- Address concerns and resolve issues promptly, creating trust and loyalty among customers.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect feedback and insights from customers and communities to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and leads in the CRM system.
- Report performance data regularly and provide actionable recommendations to improve effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or customer engagement roles.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with CRM tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be in good health and be comfortable walking neighborhood areas to promote Mercury Broadband services
- Must have a valid drivers license and be able to drive a company vehicle
- Must be able to lift or carry small marketing materials
