Insight is seeking to hire a Managed Security Practice Director to proactively develop operational solutions for customers and drive Managed Security Services within Insight’s $150M+ Support Services organization.   The Managed Security Practice Manager will focus primarily on the Managed Security Services business for the company.  The Managed Security Practice Manager will be responsible for leading efforts:

 

Business Development Efforts

  • Developing and maintaining a market leading Managed Security Services Portfolio
  • Partner with Operations to develop Managed Security processes and deliverables for Clients
  • Partner with Technology Services to develop Managed Security tools and platforms for Clients
  • Working with Regional Sales and Engineering leadership to proactively develop sales campaigns to grow Managed Security Services revenue
  • Enabling Insight field sales with Managed Security Services Offerings
  • Understands and architects security architecture for private, hybrid, and public workloads
  • Documents business and technical requirements and transforms them into innovative solutions for the business and clients
  • Creating and strengthening partnerships to broaden Managed Security Services capabilities
  • Building and maintaining processes and systems for efficient Managed Security Services sales operations
  • Presenting the Insight Services Catalog and Offerings to Clients
  • Developing standard and custom solutions for Clients with a consultative approach
  • Consultative approach to identifying and solving complex operational and process challenges for our Clients
  • Leads a team of Security Services Architects to build and craft the service areas

 

Success in this position will require:

  • Strong background in the development of security services processes and platforms
  • Strong understanding of cloud operations and the processes underneath
  • Proactive, effective communication to sales teams and customers
  • Strong presentation aptitude 
  • Very strong security architecture skills and experience
  • Exceptional and proactive communications skills
  • Good process integration skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Strong understanding of IT technology 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Process development skills for improving internal processes
  • Collect and present metrics and other success factors to business leadership
  • Enable revenue growth with a significant focus on leading very large opportunities to closure
  • Present capabilities and value of the service to Client IT Executives including financial models

Travel is estimated in the United States at 30-50%
