Position Summary (Your Future, Fueled by Innovation) 

Based in Vega Texas, the Field Sales Coordinator, under the leadership of the North American Commercial Lead, is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Distribution partners. This multi-faceted role will initially have a heavy emphasis on the transition and integration of products from a previous external partner. The role will provide logistic and agronomic support to Distribution and growers, ranchers and herdsman. The Field Sales Coordinator will also develop and support a sales territory/segment for sorghum sales and support ensuring grower, rancher, dairy and livestock herdsmen satisfaction.  

What will you be doing?

• Assist with planning, distribution and support to meet all sales and financial targets.
• Develop and implement long term agronomic plans supporting Nufarm strategic and financial budgets
• Assist Distribution and growers/ranchers with production of sorghum by identifying weeds, disease and insect presence and provide agronomic and nutritional recommendations
• Build and maintain good working relationships with growers, industry contacts and Nufarm peers.
• Gather and disseminate market and research intelligence, including grower commercial considerations and demands
• Support identity preservation of Nufarm genetics.  This includes grower/rancher support, trial work, samples and storage practices
• Logistics coordination, including trucking from production to distribution/farm
• Assist with technical and trial work as needed in United States
• Strong ability to gather and interpret data using various resources and tools.  Ability to present results in a manner that is clear, concise and tells the story accurately and appropriately.
• Compliance work for Regulated Events and products

Nufarm is looking for someone with a degree in Agriculture Sciences or related field.  The right candidate will have Sorghum crop experience and Domestic Dairy and Livestock Production experience.   We do require 3+ years’ experience in Production Agronomy and/or Dairy and Livestock industry.

Salary Range: $50,000 to $90,000
