Account Manager

National Instruments Corporation is seeking an Account Manager (Multiple Openings) for its offices in Novi, MI

Job Description: 

• Develop and manage strategic relationships with key automotive sector clients, serving as the primary point of contact for both engineering teams and senior leadership.
• Lead account management efforts for premier enterprise customers, ensuring long-term partnership success and customer satisfaction.
• Assess customer needs, challenges, and business objectives to deliver tailored solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Create and execute comprehensive Account Growth Plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders and key partners.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to support account strategies and deliver value to customers.
• Establish the organization as a trusted advisor by providing strategic guidance and industry expertise to clients.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and customer requirements to inform business strategies and identify opportunities for expansion.
• Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues to ensure high levels of client retention and satisfaction.
• Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, account reports, and performance updates to senior management.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date account information using CRM systems, tracking sales activities and customer interactions.
• Telecommuting limited to one day per work week; must work in the office the remaining four days.

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, plus 4 years of experience in Field Application Engineering, Application Engineering or a Sales Engineering occupation. 

The required experience must include the following: 

• 4 years of progressive experience in technical sales
• 4 years of experience in the Test & Measurement Industry

Work location: 29185 Cabot Drive, Novi, MI 48377. Telecommuting limited to one day per work week; must work in the office the remaining four days.
