Position Overview
We are looking for a professional to lead our efforts in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence through strategic partnerships with top pharmaceutical manufacturers. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy that fosters new and lasting relationships with key industry stakeholders.
You will manage the entire sales process from identifying new opportunities to closing deals. This role involves building strong relationships with executive, commercial, brand, patient services, market access, and other critical teams within the pharmaceutical industry. You will understand how our patient and healthcare provider engagement solutions can help our clients achieve their objectives and effectively communicate this value proposition to secure new business.
This position is a key part of our growing commercial organization, involving close collaboration with the Executive Team, Client Solutions, and Marketing to ensure success. You will report directly to the Senior Vice President and Head of Business Development. This is a remote role, with an expectation of frequent travel to meet with clients and attend industry conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales and client retention goals.
- Identify new business opportunities through various channels.
- Conduct thorough needs analyses, develop tailored solutions, and present these to prospective clients.
- Lead pricing discussions, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Use an entrepreneurial, consultative, and relationship-driven approach to secure new business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to expand business with existing clients.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, particularly within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, with a focus on commercial teams.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to build deep, senior-level relationships with pharmaceutical stakeholders.
- Successful track record of managing the end-to-end sales process for deals exceeding $1M.
- Strong “hunter” mentality with the ability to generate new business opportunities.
- Quick learner with a high level of proficiency in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Results-driven problem solver with a hands-on approach and a willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that embraces change and fosters growth.
- Exceptional analytical, written, and presentation skills.
Travel Requirements
Extensive travel is required, including overnight stays (up to 75%).
Working Conditions
This is a primarily sedentary role, with occasional standing and walking required. The work environment is generally favorable, with standard office conditions.

Compensation
Anticipated salary range: \(140,000 - \)160,000 base, plus targeted commission.
