SALES REPRESENTATIVE
You will have the unique opportunity to work in our Hawaii Office to assist with the overall growth and development of a small business, conduct site visits to evaluate customer applications, needs and to promote EST’s innovative services, products, and values. Achieve profitable sales growth by working with current customers and new business development. We will provide training and one-on-support by top management to assist you in being successful. RESPONSIBILITES: - Establishes and builds professional customer and vendor relationships.
- Develops a list of prospects from company records, resource material, and existing industrial/commercial/government contacts.
- Makes sales calls to established or prospective customers. Review, assess and understand potential application and/or equipment needs.
- Performs formal sales presentations as appropriate.
- Secures opportunities to quote and promote company products and/or services.
- Identify service, spare parts and consumable needs of existing and new customers.
- Utilizes company Zoho/CRM for tracking of new leads and scheduling follow up calls.
- Submits all required reports to sales manager per agreed upon schedule.
- May be required to attend trade shows or other sales and networking events both in person and online.
- May be required to train individuals or small groups on related company processes, software, equipment, etc.
- Performs any directly related duties assigned by the sales manager.
- Performs assigned duties with minimal personal supervision from the sales manager.
- Complete MSHA/OSHA Training and maintain certificates as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Strong customer orientation.
- Understanding of the importance of being a team player to achieve organizational goals.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and listening skills, self-motivated, results-driven, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, well organized and dependable.
- Driver’s license and excellent driving record required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport, Military base passes and other access credentials.
- Minimum 1 – 3 years successful direct sales experience, preferably in industrial or government sales applications.
- Associate or bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college preferred.
- In lieu of degree, five years or more of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Proven ability to exceed quotas and manage the entire sales life cycle from lead generation to close.
- Proven capability/knowledge of principles and methods of promoting, selling, and demonstrating products and/or services resulting in increased profitable sales.
- Strong knowledge and background in mechanical, plumbing, electrical and electronic systems a plus.
- Familiar with mechanical and electrical equipment and basic ability, acumen and knowledge to troubleshoot equipment.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft office applications/systems and CRM’s.
- Ability to travel locally, occasional overnight travel in the US and the opportunity of expanding travel to Guam.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - May involve prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk doing computer work.
- Some traveling by way of commercial aircraft.
- Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work outside under various environmental conditions.
- May included some exposure to hazardous materials and equipment.
- Ability to maneuver around moving objects, vehicles and machinery.
- Ability to utilize a ladder with 300 pounds weight limit.
