Exciting new opportunity with a leading medical device company! We are seeking an Area Sales Manager with successful medical device/medical products experience calling on hospitals / acute care facilities. For this position, you can have experience selling capital equipment or disposable medical products. You will call on various areas of the hospital such as; physical therapy, occupational therapy, employee health and nursing. You will also build relationships distributors and key decision makers in the C-Suite, contacting and procurement, logistics, nursing and risk management.
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Territory includes: MI, IN, OH, KY
Base salary: $75-90,000 with uncapped commission structure and a excellent benefit package.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of medical device sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications or a related field is required.
- Clinical experience with a sales background is a plus
- Ability to drive company vans and mid size trucks.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.; as well as bending, kneeling and reaching as essential to the job.
- Ability to travel as necessary up to 75% of the time.
- Ability to work weekends or after hours to train hospital staff
