We have an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Specialist with an international manufacturer of biologics and wound care products. This role will be responsible for the sale of an innovative regenerative tissue product into burn and trauma centers across the assigned territory.
Compensation Profile:
Base: $100,000-$110,000
1st Year Total Comp: $200,000+ (uncapped commissions)
Car Allowance: $600-$800
Full Medical/Dental and 401K
Territory: Baltimore, DC, Northern VA
Essential Functions:
• Position company competitively in the Surgical market and increase sales
• Develop, sell, and in-service Surgical accounts within the assigned region
• Educate the community on the benefits of products.
• Attend Surgical related meetings while working with the assigned local representative
• Manage approved operating budget per month
• Travel as necessary to all assigned targeted Surgical accounts for in-servicing, education and applications within the assigned geography independently or with the local representative
• Manage the ordering process and inventory for assigned Surgical accounts
• Work with the Medical Affairs team to develop a Surgical Advisory Committee, Surgical Center of Excellence, Surgical KOL Development, Surgical Abstracts / Studies and other related initiatives
• Assist in the training and development of Sales Representatives to be proficient in surgical product applications
• Assist the marketing and sales leadership teams to develop a successful Surgical sales strategy
• Manage the established Surgical business Sales Quota within the region
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree, preferably in the Business, Science, or Medical field
• 5+ years in medical sales, selling tissue products and/or calling on burn/trauma centers
• Proven experience and high achievement in sales
• Evidence of successfully developing and closing large scale contracts
