Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our medical device company. This remote position is ideal for a self-motivated individual located on the West Coast who is ready to lead and develop a team of sales representatives across a diverse territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training & Development: Provide comprehensive training, mentorship, and ongoing development to a team of sales representatives, ensuring they are equipped with in-depth product knowledge and effective sales strategies
- Sales Execution: Actively engage in selling our range of medical devices, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the products and the needs of clients within the medical industry
- Travel & Field Work: Commit to traveling two days per month to accompany sales reps in the field. This will include visits to key territories in Texas, Denver, San Francisco, Seattle, and San Diego, providing hands-on support and guidance
- Performance Management: Monitor sales performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing regular feedback and implementing strategies to meet and exceed targets
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services
- Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities, adjusting sales strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the medical device sector
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of training and developing successful sales teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel as required for the role
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary with On-Target Earnings (OTE) of up to $130,000 annually
